Alex Brandon was host / MC and the Pinon Middle School Band led by Mr. Chandler provided the entertainment. Alex provided a great comedy while keeping the flow going.

We have a speaker lined up for October. Rick Piercy, President and CEO of the Lew Center, will discuss their school and observatory. The Lewis Center operates both an optical and radio telescope. The financial tremor in Greece is shaking up the world economy. Investors are looking for a safe haven to put their money and they are choosing U.S. Treasuries and Gold. But will the United States continue to be a safe haven? Bring that question and others you may have to the next Pinon Hills Chamber of Commerce meeting because Michael Urmann will be speaking and taking your questions.

Michael Urmann, a retired economics professor from the California State University San Bernardino, will be our guest speaker this Tuesday, May 11th. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend (see map on next page for directions).

The event will take place at the Pinon Hills Chamber Community Center on Mountain Road south of Highway 138 (see map below – 10405 Mountain Road Pinon Hills CA 92372).

November 10th Meeting - THC Presentation

The slate of board members was approved at the November 10th Pinon Hills Chamber of Commerce general meeting. Jill Bays was also on hand to update the chamber on Transition Habitat Conservancy’s short range and long term plans.
